Why should you do weight training?
Friends stepping into the gym usually have a variety of fitness motivations:

Regardless of your goal, we usually recommend that novices start with weight training. But occasionally it will attract some strange eyes: "Is your gym's coaches a cult organization that pushes weight training?"
Why do we repeatedly emphasize the benefits of weight training?
Why even if weight loss or sculpting is your ultimate goal, should you start weight training?
About the weight training, the famous "Hip Hip Master" Bret Contreras once said:
"When it comes to body, most people will tell you that you still need to lose 6 to 7 kilograms, and you have to control your diet. People often believe that regular aerobic exercise is the best way to help them achieve their ideal posture. What these people don't know, however, is that weight training is far more effective than aerobic exercise in improving the long-term benefits of posture.
We hypothesized that a man weighing 200 pounds and 25% body fat loses 15 pounds through "diet adjustment" and "aerobics"! Perhaps the 15 pounds would consist of 8 pounds of fat and 7 pounds of muscle, which resulted in his weight reaching 185 pounds and body fat falling to 23%.
On the other hand, suppose that the weight loss method he adopts is “diet adjustment” and “progressive resistance training”. As a result, the 15 pounds lost may be fat, but no muscle loss, so the same weight (185 pounds) body fat fell to 19%. Excluding numbers, you can also visually feel the difference between the two, not to mention the gap that will be caused over the years.
