Finasteride Dosage for male and female:
The standard dose of finasteride in the treatment of male alopecia is 1 mg per day. This shows the results of most men with hair loss. Treatment of female baldness or hirsutism usually requires a standard dose. This is usually between 1.25 mg per day and 2.5 mg of tablet per day.
When used to treat the expansion of prostaglandin, the dose is much larger. This is usually 5 mg tablets per day. If you need treatment of enlarged prostate and treatment of hair loss, this will be the dose. In this case, unless your doctor tells you, no more than 5 mg per day.
These doses are standard doses, but should not be used as an alternative to medical counseling. Not everyone is responding to drugs in the same way, and may require smaller or stronger doses. To obtain the correct dose of finasteride for your body and your condition, you must seek medical advice.

Finasteride is used to treat male male hair loss (androgenic alopecia). Treatment 6 months after treatment can reduce the hair loss of 30% improvement, as long as the medication, the effect will continue.
(3) Non-tagged use
Finasteride is sometimes used in male to female transsexual hormone replacement therapy because of its antiandrogenic properties in combination with androgen forms. However, for this purpose, very few studies of finasteride, efficacy evidence is limited.
